Senior Digital Strategist - 2024 Cycle

Our ideal candidate is a senior digital professional with political experience. Someone who has the ability to capture the voice of our diverse clients and their myriad campaigns, is comfortable leading others while working within multiple, simultaneous tight deadlines and is dedicated to helping Democratic candidates and nonprofits achieve success engaging the hearts and minds of their targets and constituents. This person will be responsible for the overall strategy and implementation of fundraising or engagement programs and should feel these things are second-nature.This position requires a high degree of organization, time management, motivation, attention to detail, and an ability to pivot toward competing priorities. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and strategic collaboration skills are a must. This person will lead and implement the digital strategy for a few of our great candidates and organizations gearing up for tough elections or organizations doing the kind of work that makes you eager to get started in the morning. The ideal candidate will have either led or been an important part of a digital operation previously. You've led or helped raise a lot of money as part of an email program and have familiarity with direct response advertising campaigns as well.ResponsibilitiesArticulating your vision for the digital program to the client in full, producing results, and functioning as the client lead, keeping the client updated on our progressWorking with teams to develop and implement fundraising and engagement campaigns, includingManaging content calendars and writing the majority of email, SMS/MMS, and direct-to-donate advertisement content, with production supportRequirements4+ years of digital experience minimumExperience leading teams for a reasonable-size campaign or organizationStrong communication skills (written and verbal), including writing, planning, and executing tests and report results for online campaignsExperience as part of a team running direct response advertising programs with a focus on donations and email acquisitionProven results managing political CRMs (NGP, Action Kit, Nation Builder, etc) Flexibility to occasionally work weekends and evenings, especially as we gear up for peak election times and experience high volumes with our clientsBenefits*This is a contracted position for the 2024 political cycle, ending on December 31st, 2024, with the option for extension based on performance and campaign needs.*The salary band for this position is $80-$95k annually with competitive benefits and paid time off.
