About the RoleJoin the Center for Sickle Cell Disease Initiatives and contribute to projects advancing global and U.S. efforts in sickle cell disease (SCD). This internship offers hands-on experience in research, evaluation, and stakeholder engagement while supporting high-impact public health initiatives.What You'll DoConduct literature reviews and summarize findings across SCD topicsSupport updates to SCD "report card" metrics and indicatorsAssist with global SCD research, including contributions to white papersHelp plan and support events (including an international SCD symposium)Track program data and support impact reporting effortsContribute to evaluation activities and project documentationWhat We're Looking ForGraduate student (Public Health, Global Health, Public Administration, or related field)Experience with research and literature reviews strongly preferredInterest in public health, health policy, or global healthStrong organization, writing, and attention to detailSkillsMicrosoft Office (especially Excel - intermediate)Experience with research databases and literature search toolsBasic data analysis and interpretationFamiliarity with evaluation methods is a plusWhy Apply?Gain real-world experience in global health research, program evaluation, and policy-related work-while contributing to meaningful efforts improving outcomes for individuals living with sickle cell disease.Ideal CandidateYou're detail-oriented, research-driven, and comfortable working with data and complex information.
