Reach Truck Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within the facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and materials handling. Duties Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials and products. Perform order picking using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required by the demands of the job. Support inventory management by accurately tracking stock levels using a warehouse management system. Experience Previous experience in warehouse distribution or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with order picking processes and equipment operation, including cranes and heavy machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures is a plus. Background in construction or warehouse management is advantageous.
