Scheduler ISUMMARYMortenson is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler I to perform routine planning and scheduling assignments that require the selection and application of basic scheduling principles and techniques with oversight for our Operating Groups.This role is based out of the MN HQ office with required travel.RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in drafting schedules using common CPM scheduling programs with oversightSupport supervision through the monitoring and updating of project schedulesAssist site management to formulate mitigation plans to correct scheduling problemsEffectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent fieldPrior experience on construction job sites highly preferredBasic knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company softwareBasic knowledge of standard construction practices and project sequencingAbility to exercise creativity and mature judgement in anticipating and solving problemsBasic plan and specification reading, review, and interpretation skillsAbility to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutionsResults-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashionActive listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedbackExcellent organization skills are a must, along with a proven desire to learnKnowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Power Project software, a plusA few benefits offered include:(for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverageDental plan401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson matchPaid time off, holidays, and other paid leavesEmployer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insuranceNo-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resourcesTuition reimbursementAdoption AssistanceGym Membership Discount ProgramThe base pay range for this role is $78,800 MIN - $98,500 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
