HR Operations Generalist

DescriptionCompetitive Pay ** Life - Balance** Winning Culture**Primary Purpose –The HR Operations Generalist is responsible for overseeing core HR operational processes, compliance programs, employee communications, and reporting functions. This role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, drives process optimization, and enhances the employee experience through effective communication, data insights, and program management.This position serves as a central point of coordination across HR services, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across multiple HR functions including leave administration, compliance auditing, internal communications, and employee engagement initiatives.SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - onsiteEssential Duties And Responsibilities -HR Operations & Service DeliveryOversee and manage the HR Inbox to ensure timely, accurate, and professional responses to employee inquiriesMaintain and improve HR knowledge resources, including FAQs for team membersManage HR Teams Channel collateral to ensure consistency and accuracyCompliance & AuditingEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulationsOversee compliance poster management and updatesLead I-9 audits and monitoring, including corrective action trackingManage driver audit processes where applicableMonitor and improve compliance-related workflows and documentationLeave & Accommodation ManagementOversee Leave of Absence (LOA) programs including FMLA, state programs and related policiesManage ADA accommodations and ensure compliance with applicable lawsLead optimization initiatives for Medical Leave and ADA processesProvide guidance and exceptional support to our team members and leaders through this process. Workers’ CompensationOversee workers’ compensation claims administrationCommunicate and collaborate with Payroll to manager timecard changesEmployee Engagement & CommunicationsLead employee survey administration, analysis, and reportingManage engagement platforms such as Energage (3rd party) surveys – bi-annually Develop and distribute HR newsletters and Leaders Digest communicationsEnsure alignment and clarity in messaging across all HR communicationsReporting & AnalyticsProduce HR scorecard reportsTrack key HR metrics and provide insights into HR leadershipAdditional HR SupportSupport recruitment when needed Support companywide events as needed Other additional duties as assigned RequirementsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)3–5 years of HR experience with exposure to compliance, leave management, and HR operationsRequired previous experience managing multi-state leave administration Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, I-9, workers’ compensation)Strong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentKey CompetenciesCompliance & Risk AwarenessEnsures adherence to HR policies and employment laws while proactively identifying and mitigating compliance risks.Communication & CollaborationCommunicates clearly and partners effectively with employees and stakeholders to support HR initiatives.Organizational & Time ManagementManages multiple priorities efficiently with strong attention to detail and timely execution.Problem Solving & Critical ThinkingEvaluates situations, identifies root causes, and implements sound, practical solutions.Employee Experience FocusDelivers responsive, empathetic support and continuously improves the employee experience.CORE VALUE (CASA-C)C –Customer FocusedA – AccountableS – Solution MindedA – Always LearningC – Collaboration
