To work within the Pearse Bertram quality system to maintain customer expectations to their requirements and follow through with any customer and internal related quality concerns. *JOB DUTIES* · Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and customer specifications. · Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of subassemblies and final assemblies of a variety of electro-mechanical systems, incoming components, and/or raw materials. · Track corrective and preventive actions from both customers and vendors. · Read and interpret specifications of parts & prints relating to incoming and final inspections. · Take photos for Streamline to document a build sequence, inspection procedure, damaged part and/or for shipment verification. · Manage Streamline build photos by downloading them into proper files and allocating them to work instructions digitally so details are maintained and accessible via the Intranet. · Draft Material Rejection Report (MRR) for internal rejections and move to nonconforming shelf per procedure. · Build inspection detail criteria for jobs into the work instruction. · Gather inspection details for product designated as needing incoming inspection and keep log book of part requirements up to date. · Revise work instructions as well as maintain index on intranet and file obsolete copy when done editing. · Follow RMA procedure by updating RMA status on intranet once inspected. · Request prints from vendors, customers and/or salesmen for both new applications and revision changes. · Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions. Communicate with Engineers and Salesmen to ensure schematics are in compliance with the final product. · Collect data, document and file Inspection Record Sheets (IRS). · Document information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs. · Deliver finished assemblies and kanban cards from Streamline to Warehouse/Packaging or to kanban/stock locations. · Promote companywide quality improvement efforts. · Evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of quality. · Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in assigned work areas and shared spaces by cleaning workstations, properly storing tools and materials, and keeping aisles, walkways, and common areas clear and safe at all times. · Perform other related duties as required and assigned. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* · Experience in Quality Assurance combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments as a Quality Assurance Specialist with satisfying customers. · Experience with Quality System rules, regulations including planning and implementation. · Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities. · Ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment essential. · Excellent time management skills. · Need to be proficient in Microsoft office applications Word, Excel & PowerPoint. · Experience working with Lean tools in a manufacturing environment highly recommended. · Experience reading Electrical & Pneumatic prints a plus. · Experience working with in an ISO 9001 quality system a plus. *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* · Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. · Frequently stands, walks, stoops, crouches, climbs, pushes and pulls. · Work environment subject to seasonal temperature variation. *Benefits and Compensation Information:* Pearse Bertram works diligently to provide outstanding benefits for our team of hard-working employees as well as to attract and retain the best of the best in the field.
