Prepress Technician, Night Shift

Position Purpose: Under the direction of the Prepress Supervisor, this position provides end user support for hardware, software, peripherals and networking. Essential Functions: 1. Must have experience using Adobe prepress applications to manipulate and correct job files for the proper dimensions, layout, trims and bleeds. 2. Identify missing or incorrect components and communicate findings to manufacturing personnel and customers. 3. A good understanding of digital file formats and file systems is a requirement. 4. Experience with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite software is required. 5. Experience using InDesign, Illustrator, Prinergy and Adobe Creative Suite. 6. Experience performing all page assembly functions. 7. Experience performing prepress functions in a commercial heat-set web and sheetfed print environment. 8. Ability to work with sales, co-workers, clients, etc. 9. Create and uphold job quality while ensuring client deadlines are met. 10. Extremely detail oriented. 11. Ability to perform file transfers, retouching, image assembly, impositions, platemaking, etc. 12. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. Education & Experience: Experience with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite software is required. As well as InDesign, Illustrator and Prinergy.
