Role Description We are seeking a full-time Optical Technician for an on-site position located in Shelton, CT. The Optical Technician will support the practice by assisting with lens processing, operating laboratory equipment, and performing optical measurements. Responsibilities also include providing exceptional customer service, communicating with patients, and supporting clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow. Qualifications Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities for effective patient interaction and teamworkProficiency in Optics and knowledge of Optical Fiber technologiesLaboratory Skills, including handling equipment and maintaining a clean, organized workspaceDetail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience in an optical or healthcare setting is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in optical technology is advantageous
