This position will ensure that all invoices are paid and resolve customer account discrepancies. A strong customer centricity is required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Handles debt collections, contacting customers via email and phoneProvide customer service as the first point of contact to resolve customer account discrepanciesManage shared accounts receivable email and voicemailAccept and process customer payments by check, ACH transfer, and credit card paymentsGathers credit information, such as D&B Reports and references, for reviewReviews customer credit applications and grant payment termsCreates electronic invoicing through customer portalsPerforms other duties as assignedRequired Experience:Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business AdministrationProficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of ProductsExperience with accounting software systems, Business Central in particular, a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsDesire to work within a strong team environment as well as the ability to work independentlyAt TAPCO, our mission is to enhance transportation and personal safety in our communities through innovative solutions and products.
