Field IT Engineer

This job is on-site field service work. You will be given service calls sent to you as work orders to execute regularly. Technicians that are available between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. are required as this is the time frame within which most jobs will be scheduled. This job entails being on-site to do hands-on I.T, cabling or networking jobs which may involve any of the following: 1. Set up or troubleshoot photocopiers. 2. Troubleshoot or repair desktops and laptops. 3. Install or troubleshoot fiber cables. 4. Install or troubleshoot low-voltage cables. 5. Install or troubleshoot networking devices. 6. Set up or troubleshoot point-of-sale computers. 7. Setup or troubleshoot Printers. 8. Install or troubleshoot Digital Signage. 9. Install or troubleshoot Satellite Systems. 10. Install or troubleshoot Switches and Routers. 11. Setup or troubleshoot Server hardware and software. 12. Install Structured cabling. 13. Install and troubleshoot Telecoms and VoIP systems. 14. Install and troubleshoot CCTV and Alarm Systems. 15. Install and troubleshoot Kiosks. 14. Install and troubleshoot Audio Visual Systems. You will need to have your IT and cabling hardware tools, you also need to have a means of transportation to the job site where you will sent to execute service calls. No training is offered for this role. You will be sent to any of the work types listed above that are within your skill sets. You will be given service instructions for each job you will be sent out to do, and you will also have tech support available to you for each job. Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week Work Location: On the road
