Medical Device Assembler
Job Overview
Our client, located in North Austin, is seeking Final Assemblers to join their growing manufacturing team. Ideal candidates will have experience within medical device assembly, cleanroom environments, and/or assembling small, intricate goods. Candidates will also do light quality control under a microscope to check for defects.
Shift Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm
Duties:
Sew and assemble sewing cuffs to specification in a cleanroom environment.
Inspect materials and components, in-process assemblies, and finished goods with aid of a microscope.
Maintain production and inspection records.
Assist with monitoring, cleaning, and testing cleanroom environment.
Batch Components for the days Production.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred
Experience in inspection or assembly or similar intricate hand work, preferred
Experience working within FDA & ISO manufacturing practices, preferred
Basic computer skills, including MS Office, internet, and email
Ability to read and understand detailed manufacturing instructions and drawings
Ability to use a microscope
Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Must be available to work OT and Saturdays
