This position reports directly to the Director, Business Development.The Analyst supports strategic growth initiatives through market research, data analysis, and business development support. This role will help identify new opportunities, analyze market and pipeline trends, develop reports and presentations, and support proposal and pursuit activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with strong communication skills and experience working with data, reporting tools, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Paid time off, including vacation, sick days, and holidays.401(k) Retirement Plan with company match and immediate vesting.Competitive compensation, annual pay increases, and bonuses.State embraces and encourages workplace diversity.WHAT YOU WILL DOResearch market trends, industry developments, competitors, and client needs to help identify new business opportunities and support strategic growth initiatives.Assist in evaluating and prioritizing potential partnerships, pursuits, and revenue-generating opportunities aligned with company objectives.Analyze operational, financial, and market data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into actionable business insights.Create professional presentations, dashboards, reports, and proposal materials to support client meetings, leadership reviews, and strategic planning initiatives.Maintain and track opportunity and customer information within CRM systems, monitor pipeline activity and win/loss metrics, and support forecasting and performance reporting.Support proposal submissions, RFP responses, and prequalification packages by coordinating information across teams and ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, marketing, legal, strategy, and senior leadership to support business development initiatives and improve internal processes.WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM1–4 years of experience in business development, market research, business intelligence, operations analysis, strategy, or a related analytical role.Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business reporting tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.Experience in construction, engineering, or other project-based industries is considered an asset.Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an asset.
