Intelligence Analyst

Job DescriptionThe 1st Test and Evaluation Squadron leads the integrated testing of USSF Command and Control and Space Domain Awareness programs of record in support of weapon system acquisition, operational acceptance, and readiness.Mission: 1 TES prepares USSF forces to prevail in a contested, degraded, and operationally-limited environment through the independent test and evaluation of operational-level command and control technologies and the delivery of timely, accurate, and expert information in support of weapon system acquisition, operational acceptance, and readiness decisions.Purpose of position: Primary intel expert supporting 1 TES. Works closely with test teams to perform threat assessments that inform the development of Test Campaign Plans. Helps test teams understand the physical and logical environment in which the system under test is operated, enabling the team to develop operationally relevant tests.Duties:• Conducts complex analysis of multi-source intelligence.• Evaluates both classified and unclassified information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses, and centers of gravity.• Aids test team in the battlespace development phase of the Test & Evaluation process.• Works with the squadron's cyber experts as needed to evaluate credible cyber threats to the systems under test.Knowledge and skills for the position:• Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices.• Ability to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data to make recommendations in developing intelligence reports and threat assessments.• Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detailed analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources, to include database manipulation.• Experience in the Test & Evaluation community• An intelligence-related or professional/scientific degree is desirable.Certificates/Security Clearances/OtherRequirements for the position:• U.S. citizenship• Must be able to undergo a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret w/SCI clearance.• Employee needs to obtain and maintain approval to access the portfolio of Special Access Programs required to perform daily duties.• Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.• This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions present a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
