Position TitleIntellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Administrative AssistantDepartmentCare Management FLSA StatusPart Time Non-Exempt Reports to: IDD SupervisorPosition Summary:The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Administrative Assistant is a professional whose primary responsibility is to assist the IDD Specialist in the development disability application process. The IDD Administrative Assistant is required to be able to effectively communicate with youth, families and community- based resources to ensure applications are moving forward. This position is part time with a work week of 20 hours.Major Responsibilities:Provide direct support to the IDD Specialist to maintain the DD (youth) and DDD (adult) applicant waitlists.Make phone calls to families to assist with application completion.Manage documentation with updates on applicants in Microsoft One Note.May co-facilitate informational sessions to the community.Assist the IDD Specialist with administrative tasks as needed.Other duties as assigned.Competencies:Critical and independent thinkingChange managementFlexibility and adaptabilityDetail orientedIntegrityOral and Written CommunicationReliabilityMinimum Requirements for the position:High school diploma or GEDProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent customer service skills, both written and verbalStrong organizational and multi-tasking skills required, as well as flexibilityAuthorized to work in the U.S.Valid driver's license in good standing
