Brief DescriptionJob Title: Finishing Hand – Underground UtilitiesLocation: UT - Salt Lake City & surrounding areas travel to job sites is requiredPay: Starting $38 and up based on experience *Dependent on years of experience and job stability demonstrated on resume*Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Finishing Hand with experience in underground utilities to join our crew. This role is key to wrapping up projects the right way — you’ll be responsible for restoring job sites, final grading, and helping prep for inspections and project close-out. If you take pride in a clean, professional-looking finish and know what it means to leave a site better than you found it, we want to talk to you.Key Responsibilities Perform final grading, backfill, and compaction to meet job specs Restore landscaping, sidewalks, driveways, or pavement as needed Set and adjust utility structures like manhole rings/lids and valve boxes to final grade Assist with cleanup and job site restoration before inspections Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and ready for turnover Work closely with foremen and inspectors to ensure punch lists are completedRequirementsOver 5 years of experience operating a motor grader to create smooth, level surfaces on construction sitesProven experience operating finish blade equipment in civil constructionStrong understanding of grading, slopes, and finish tolerancesAbility to read grade stakes and follow site plansSafety-focused, dependable, and able to work in a team environmentWe’re Looking For Team Members Who AreHardworking, honest, and committed to doing quality workAble to work in changing outdoor conditionsReliable and take pride in their craft
