Corporate Executive/Legal Assistant

OverviewA well-established law firm is seeking a highly organized and proactive Corporate / Executive Legal Assistant to support senior attorneys and executive leadership. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and brings strong attention to detail, discretion, and a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders.This position follows a hybrid work model, combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys across corporate, healthcare, and M&A practice areasDraft, revise, and proofread a variety of legal documents, including corporate agreements, correspondence, and transactional materialsOversee document workflows, including filing, organization within document management systems (e.g., iManage), routing for signatures, and distribution of finalized materialsPrepare and circulate signature packets, coordinating execution through electronic signature platforms such as DocuSign, Adobe Sign, SimplyAgree, and emailAssemble fully executed transaction documents in PDF format, ensuring accurate inclusion of signature pages, exhibits, and schedulesCoordinate closing logistics and provide project support for corporate and M&A transactionsMaintain and update transaction records and legal files in both digital and physical formats, ensuring proper organization and accessibilityManage the distribution and tracking of executed documents to confirm timely delivery and completionReview and process billing materials, including invoices, correspondence, and expense reimbursementsInitiate new client matters, including preparing intake documentation and coordinating conflict checksDraft engagement letters and assist with onboarding documentation for new clientsManage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, and prepare meeting materials and agendasHandle incoming communications, screen calls, and relay messages on behalf of supported attorneysContribute to special projects and provide support during high-volume periodsOffer backup assistance to the broader legal support team as neededQualifications5+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably within corporate, healthcare, or M&A practice areasPrior experience supporting senior attorneys, executives, or partners in a law firm environmentStrong knowledge of legal terminology, document preparation, and transactional processesExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems (e.g., iManage)Experience with electronic signature platforms (DocuSign, Adobe Sign, etc.) strongly preferredWork EnvironmentHybrid schedule (combination of remote and in-office work)Professional, collaborative law firm settingExposure to high-level corporate and transactional legal workCompensationSalary range: $80,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualificationsCompetitive benefits package may include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and retirement plansAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
