Vice President of Client Service – Direct Response Fundraising
Job Description:Oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of a large, direct mail fundraising program, guiding work from initial concept through production, analysis, and long-term optimization. Partner closely with internal teams across Creative, Analytics, and Production to ensure campaigns are thoughtful, integrated, and delivering strong results. Serve as a primary client partner, building deep relationships, advising on strategy and performance, and helping navigate complex decisions around budgets, creative direction, and program growth. Lead and mentor a team of fundraising professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment and supporting their ongoing development. Requirements:10+ years of progressive experience in direct response fundraising Deep expertise in direct mail fundraising, with experience integrating digital and other channels Proven ability to lead large, high-volume or highly complex fundraising programs with multiple moving parts Strong client management skills and experience serving as a senior strategic advisor Experience managing and developing high-performing teams Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis Strong communication and presentation skills, including translating data into clear recommendations Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment A collaborative, enterprise mindset and ability to partner across teams A deep commitment to client success and mission-driven work.
