Competitive pay Monday - Friday 9:00PM - 5:00PM We have overnight nursing support that means NO OVERNIGHT ON-CALL Competitive Pay Generous Paid Time Off Great benefits Dedicated resources so you get ongoing training and development opportunities The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will: Have completion of a Nurse (LPN) degree from an accredited school of nursing; Possess a current LPN license in the state of Washington; Align with Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers Have prior management experience Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment; Have the ability to plan, direct, and implement resident care program in a geriatric nursing environment; geriatric nursing experience desirable; Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality; Have the ability to evaluate effectiveness in the care plan; Have the ability to educate, counsel, supervise, evaluate, and discipline resident care team; Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors Essential Functions Ability to read and write English in order to follow and give oral and written instructions; Must be able to complete required paperwork and filing with high degree of accuracy; Ability to observe resident’s behavior and communicate observations in a professional and intelligent manner; Must be able to explain clearly to potential residents, families and employees the policies and procedures of the facility; After receiving the appropriate training, must be able to operate standard business equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines and telephones BenefitsTouchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
