Summer Bridge Program: PreK Teacher (INTERNAL)
The School Board of Liberty County is accepting applications for the job position noted above. Key components of this program include a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned to the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards for 4-year-olds to kindergarten, structured and engaging learning environment, and whole group/small group instruction designed to assist in bridging the gap for prekindergarten students transitioning to kindergarten.QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.Certified in the appropriate area or willing to work toward certification.Must provide written references upon request from the Superintendent.Some variation may occur in specialized service areas requiring a Master's Degree or no degree at all (non-degreed vocational)Dates Of Program / Compensation2.5 hours of pre-planning, 7.5 hours per day during the program (June 8th - July 23rd, no Fridays), 4 hours per day (July 27), 1.5 hours of post-planning = total of 188 hours, $35/hour.Additional Job InformationReasonable accommodations for completing forms and interviews are available for people with disabilities when requested in advance.
