Professional Search Group OC is partnering with a highly respected Orange County litigation boutique to identify an experienced Insurance Defense/Personal Injury Attorney (7–9+ years) to join their growing team.Our client is an established litigation and transactional firm known for its collaborative culture, sophisticated casework, and long-standing client relationships. This opportunity offers the ability to independently manage a busy insurance defense/personal injury docket from inception through trial for one of the firm’s most valued clients.The ideal candidate will take full ownership of a fast-paced caseload of approximately 50 matters, handling all phases of litigation while maintaining clear and professional communication with insurance adjusters, witnesses, medical providers, and court personnel. This role also includes mentoring and supervising associates and support staff in a hybrid/remote environment with professionalism and respect.Insurance Defense/Personal Injury Attorney ResponsibilitiesDraft, prepare, and argue motions, oppositions, and reply briefs in state courts and arbitration forumsConduct and defend depositionsPrepare and respond to written discovery, including subpoenasReview and analyze documents from opposing counsel, clients, and third partiesDraft settlement agreements and negotiate resolutionsPrepare pretrial documents, motions in limine, and deposition summariesConduct voir dire, deliver opening/closing arguments, and examine witnesses at trialDevelop litigation strategy in collaboration with clients for higher-exposure matters while independently managing lower-value casesPerform legal research and analysis of case law and statutesSupervise associates, paralegals, and legal assistantsAccurately and promptly record billable timeInsurance Defense/Personal Injury Attorney Qualifications7–9+ years of insurance defense and/or personal injury litigation experienceActive California State Bar license (required)J.D. from an accredited law schoolProven experience managing cases from inception through trialStrong written and oral advocacy skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume practiceCompensation & BenefitsBase salary starting at $200,000+ (DOE)Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchFSA/DCA accountsDiscretionary annual bonusUnlimited PTOParental leaveTerm life and disability insuranceAnnual retreats and firm eventsCell phone and laptop providedOffice space available for local Irvine candidatesApply with Professional Search Group OC today!
