Construction Project Manager

A well-established general contractor in the Colorado Springs market is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to take ownership of diverse, high-impact projects.Position OverviewThe Project Manager will be responsible for the overall execution of projects, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and client communication. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.Project TypesGround-up commercial constructionOffice buildingsRetail developmentsIndustrial / warehouse facilitiesHealthcare (medical office buildings, clinics, renovations)Education (K-12 and higher education)Key ResponsibilitiesManage projects from preconstruction through closeoutDevelop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecastsLead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiations, and procurementOversee and track RFIs, submittals, and change ordersEnsure projects are delivered on time and within budgetMaintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractorsCollaborate with Superintendents to align field execution with project goalsIdentify and mitigate project risks and challengesLead project meetings and provide regular reporting to leadershipQualifications5–10+ years of experience in commercial construction project managementProven experience managing ground-up projectsStrong understanding of construction financials, contracts, and schedulingExperience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar toolsExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
