This role will involve both classroom and laboratory instruction, underlining the integration of theoretical concepts and practical application. Faculty in this role should enjoy working with students who are still developing as learners and future professionals, and be committed to helping them grow in confidence, accountability, communication, and academic readiness.Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:Creating and maintaining course syllabi, ensuring alignment with course objectives and outcomesDelivering engaging and effective instruction in Allied Health, utilizing current teaching methodologiesWorking with a high school-aged population taking college-level coursesDeveloping, assessing, and refining course materials to enhance student learning and meet accreditation standardsMaintaining office hours for student support and engagement outside of the classroomCollaborating with colleagues in the continual assessment and improvement of the curriculumWorking in a team environment that includes high school and college administrationThis position emphasizes a student-centered approach to teaching, integrating diverse learning opportunities in the field of allied health.RequirementsEducational Qualifications:Master's Degree required in Health, Science, or related field.
