The Choice is facilitating an upcoming contract opportunity to provide HR and financial support services to an independent federal agency client.Starting immediately - this is a temporary/contract position,ending September 30, 2026.This position supports the HR and Finance units; reporting to CFO and CHCOLocation: Fully in person, Monday-Friday; 8-430 or 9-530, Downtown, DCSalary: Starting at $32 an hour for candidates meeting the minimum required qualifications. There is some room if candidates have more experience.Required Qualifications include:At least two years of relevant experienceMust have some prior experience with NFC systems and associated transactions including initiating and processing personnel actions such as Entry, Processing, Inquiry, and Correction System (EPIC) and related mainframe platforms.Additional preferred qualifications:Some previous government finance-related work would be ideal. Experience with eOPF management - federal HR compliance and Oracle / G-Invoicing a large plus.Job Duties:Assist with the implementation and management of the agencys monthly Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP).Assist in the development and writing of the OMB Budget Request and other agency reports, as needed.Accurately compile documentation under tight deadlines to support OSCs Finance and Human Capital Office teams throughout a financial statement audit.Assist with the review and analysis of OSC payroll reports and work with Finance and HCO staff and leadership to resolve any issue areas.Prepare Request for Personnel Action (SF-52) in accordance with OPM personnel processing guidelines.Assist in maintaining and managing employee records in electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF) in accordance with the eOPF records management requirements, including the General Records Schedule (GRS).Supporting Time & Attendance (T&A) administration, including reviewing timecards, troubleshooting system issues, and responding to employee and supervisor inquiries.Coordinate with HR, Finance and NFC service providers to resolve personnel and payroll issues.
