In this role, you will build secure, modern applications that manage cryptographic infrastructure and mission systems using best-in-class full stack practices across Java and React. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience). Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.Location: Dedham, MAPosition: Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java/React)Contract: 12-24 months with possibility of going directPay: $71.75/hourCLEARANCE: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hireIn this role you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to:Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical full stack applications (Java/React) for cybersecurity and key management workflowsImplement scalable RESTful services, database models, and frontend components aligned with DoD standardsWrite unit and integration tests while ensuring code quality, security, and performance optimizationCollaborate with product, security, and systems teams to refine requirements and deliver featuresParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to architecture and design documentationSupport readiness reviews and security compliance activitiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related STEM field plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experienceOR Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experienceExperience working in Agile or Scaled Agile environmentsU.S. citizenship is requiredClearance Requirements:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hireApplicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informationKnowledge Skills And Abilities:Strong proficiency in Java including enterprise development patternsExperience with React and modern JavaScript frameworksDatabase experience including SQL and PostgreSQLExperience with ORM tools such as HibernateFamiliarity with the Spring ecosystem including Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring SecurityStrong understanding of secure software development practices and defensive programmingExperience designing and consuming REST APIsFamiliarity with Material UI and modern React patterns such as hooks and state managementKnowledge of PKI, digital certificates, and secure key handlingExperience with application servers such as WildFly or similarFamiliarity with SNMP for monitoring and management integrationsStrong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to work across cross-functional teams and handle complex technical challengesAbout our client:Our client is a mission critical DoD - Aerospace defense contractor developing solutions that will lead, serve, and protect our country.
