The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Platform Engineering and has long experience in managing large infrastructures in AWS. This role requires a deep understanding of modern DevOps tools and practices, as well as a commitment to fostering a responsive, communicative, and collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain infrastructure services for 30+ development teamsDevelop and manage infrastructure as codeImplement and provide guidance on observability (InfluxDB, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)Participate in on-call rotationsManage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to support scalable and secure applicationsCollaborate with development teams to ensure smooth infrastructure operationsTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issuesImplement best practices for security, reliability, and performanceProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineersCommunicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in a platform engineering or similar roleProficiency in at least one programming language (preferably "Golang" or Python, Ruby)Leadership skills and the will to transition into a leadership roleExtensive experience with at least one Infrastructure as Code provider (preferably Terraform)In-depth experience with AWS cloud servicesExcellent skills in LinuxHaving worked with at least one Database product, preferably MongoDB or ElasticsearchExcellent problem-solving skillsExceptional communication skills, both verbal and writtenProven ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPreferred QualificationsIn-depth knowledge of networking and TCP/IPKnowledge of security best practices in cloud environmentsStrong experience in observability platforms like Prometheus, Elastic APM, InfluxDB and GrafanaExperience with RabbitMQ or similar tools(Kafka, SQS/SNS, ActiveMQ) and VaultBenefitsFlexible working format - remote, office-based or flexibleA competitive salary and good compensation packageProfessional development tools (mentorship program, tech talks and trainings, centers of excellence, and more)Active tech communities with regular knowledge sharing#J-18808-Ljbffr
