Surgical Tech Location: Torrance, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,635 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Neuro Experience is a Plus Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 3 Years Preferred License: Valid State License Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: - Neuro experience is a plus - First-timers accepted - Required to float between like units - Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays - Local candidates accepted Description: Previous charge experience is required. Patient ratio experience is needed. Must have knowledge of charting systems. Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred. Knowledge of trauma levels and travel experience is beneficial. Skills needed include proficiency in various surgical procedures. Experience with robotic surgical systems is preferred. Candidates will need to handle diverse patient demographics. Daily census typically ranges from 25 to 35 patients. Ability to float to different facilities is essential. Communication devices will be provided as needed. Modules must be completed prior to start and annually thereafter. Candidates must comply with background checks regarding license hits. References covering one year of experience are required.
