This position will work behind the bar in our indoor and outdoor settings to serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests. Bartenders will provide excellent customer service and build rapport with guests to create a positive and fun atmosphere.Key Responsibilities:Greet and engage guests in a timely and friendly manner providing exceptional customer serviceID customers as neededPour beer, wine and other beverages correctlyMix traditional and creative cocktails and make suggestions based on guest tastes and preferencesEnsure the bar is stocked with all items neededSanitize all surfaces in the bar area at the end of each shift, and keep clean and tidy throughoutAt the end of each shift return inventory to locked cabinetsOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent qualificationMust be at least 21 years of agePrior experience in a similar or related position (e.g. hospitality or food and beverage)Bartending certification is preferred; if not training will be providedKnowledge of bartending skills along with applicable laws and regulationsExcellent customer service skills and positive attitudeStrong verbal communication and organizational skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environmentMust be able to work cooperatively and efficiently as part of a teamAbility to work flexible hours including nights, holidays and weekendsAbility to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds
