This position is ideal for candidates seeking a partner-track position with meaningful courtroom exposure and client responsibility.This opportunity is actively interviewing and offers immediate involvement in impactful legal matters.________________________________________Key Responsibilities• Manage guardianship and conservatorship cases from inception through resolution • Handle litigation files independently with minimal supervision • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs • Conduct depositions, hearings, and court appearances • Advise clients on probate, trust, and conservatorship matters • Develop legal strategies and perform in-depth legal research • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management • Participate in settlement negotiations and client consultations ________________________________________Qualifications• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in guardianship and conservatorship matters • Active membership in the Texas Bar (TX Bar required) • Strong litigation and case management experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Experience handling sensitive client matters with professionalism • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus ________________________________________Education & Certifications• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school • Licensed to practice law in Texas • Notary Public certification is a plus ________________________________________Skills & Competencies• Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to handle complex legal issues with attention to detail • Effective communication with diverse client populations • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment ________________________________________Culture & Firm AppealThis opportunity is with a highly respected regional law firm known for its long history, stability, and commitment to excellence in legal services.
