Apprentice Millwright/Rigger

Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring Apprentice Millwright/Riggers for a year-long plus project in Clarksville, TN. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years field experience working as a Millwright. Must also have some documented experience as a Rigger. Must have all own PPE (hard hat, steel toe boots, eye and ear protection, high-vis vest) and hand tools. OSHA 10 card or cert REQUIRED. Lift experience mandatory. Pass drug test and go straight to work. Apprentice Millwright/Rigger Qualifications 3 years minimum of verifiable field experience as a millwright Some experience rigging equipment to a forklift to be put on skates and moved Must have PPE and hand tools Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required OSHA 10 required Must have some lift experience Conveyor install exp is a HUGE PLUS! Apprentice Millwright/Rigger Duties Unbolting and rigging heavy industrial equipment to be moved internally or relocated to another facility Rig to forklift and put on skates to be moved Reinstalling heavy machinery Perform well on this site and you'll be moved on to other jobs in the area Apprentice Millwright/Rigger Compensation/Benefits $25/hr BOE $115/day per diem Currently working 6/11s M-S Guaranteed overtime Weekly direct deposit PTO/holidays Comprehensive medical/dental Very long-term opportunity Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 10 hour shift Day shift Every weekend Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
