EHS Engineer

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, while promoting a strong safety culture across all operations.The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in construction or industrial environments, with a strong commitment to risk prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and company standardsConduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure complianceLead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actionsProvide safety training and coaching to employees, contractors, and site personnelMonitor environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions, and pollution preventionPrepare and maintain accurate HSE reports, documentation, and metricsCollaborate with project teams to integrate EHS requirements into planning and execution phasesSupport emergency response planning and drillsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in HSE roles within construction, engineering, or industrial environmentsStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental standardsExperience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigationsProfessional certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHST) are a plusBilingual English/Spanish is preferredIf you’re passionate about safety and want to make a measurable impact, we’d love to hear from you.
