Who we’re looking for:Wolfspeed’s Materials Business is seeking a organized and people-focused individual with a proven track record of successful execution in people leadership, hiring, team efficiency, and overall organization. This position will work directly with the Process Engineering teams in our Silicon Carbide (SiC) Global Operations manufacturing team located at the Corporate Headquarters in Durham, NC.The Day-to-Day:Work with technicians to they have the tools they need to complete their tasks in enabling production.Drive project initiatives forward in support of process safety, quality, throughput, and low costLead technician hiring, promotion, and training initiatives/programs within the teamEnsuring procedures for the process engineering processes are up-to-date and audit readyMonitoring and coordination of technician response when process shifts out of controlBe the team’s organization and cleanliness champion (5S) and interface between the organizational excellence teamVerify technician gaps are covered and head count is secure for enabling productionDocument best known methods across areas of ownershipCreate and maintain technician documents and procedures as necessaryFacilitate and oversee the technician resources for qualifications and requalification of tool setsMaintain schedule to meet overall qualifications and project goalsSustaining support, troubleshooting, equipment acceptance and resolving technical issues that may arise in day to day manufacturingThis Job is Right for You if You Have:BA or BS required, preferred STEM focusWilling and able to work a flexible schedule as needed to support critical tool issues in a manufacturing environment, target shift is Sun - Thurs or Tue – Sat, 12PM – 8 PMAbility to manage large teams and coordinate schedules to ensure gaps are coveredExcel in person-to-person communication skills to help drive technician growth, effectiveness, and trainingAbility to read and understand charts, graphs, and critical production indicators (or ability to learn to do so)Ability to manage large teams and coordinate schedules to ensure gaps are coveredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust have a positive, professional, energetic, can-do attitudeThis role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.This role requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.
