Registered Nurse - Operating Room

DutiesAs a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgery. The role requires you to work on weekends with 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You will be part of a team in a Level II Trauma Center, specializing in Ortho, Neuro, General, XI/DV5 Robot, and Trauma cases. The nurse-to-patient ratio is maintained at 1:1 to ensure optimal patient care. SkillsVascular procedures such as Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair and Carotid angioplastyGynecological surgeries including Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy and Dilation & CurettagePlastic surgeries like Abdominoplasty and Mastectomy with tram flap reconstructionProfessional skills in Infection control, Cardiac Monitoring, and Wound ManagementNeurological procedures including Craniotomy and Lumbar fusionRobotic surgeries using Da Vinci Xi Surgical SystemEmergency management skills including Code response and Fire SafetyExperienceMinimum of 2 years of experience in SurgeryExperience in Trauma Level II is requiredPreferred experience in Trauma Level I and Teaching HospitalTravel experience is requiredProficiency in using the Epic charting systemCertifications: BLS is required; ACLS and CNOR are preferred
