Job DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Dallas, Texas.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Nuclear Medicine TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 04/08/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Days, 5x8hrsHours: 40 hrs/wkStart Date: Apr 8, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Dallas, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active ARRT (N) or CNMT certification.DetailsDay shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM40 hours per weekWeekend schedule to be determined by the facilityOn-call schedule to be determined by the facility13-week contractRequirementsMinimum of 24 months of current Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience requiredActive ARRT certification with Nuclear Medicine (N) specialty, or CNMT within 6 months of hireActive Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from the Texas Medical Board (temporary or permanent); license required if applicableActive AHA BLS certificationAbility to operate Gamma cameras including SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanners, nuclear medicine computers, and Cardiac Stress equipmentAbility to administer IM and IV injections and start IV linesBasic knowledge of nuclear medicine therapeutic treatments and EKG for cardiac studiesThorough working knowledge of nuclear medicine technology, including relevant chemistry, physics, mathematics, and biomedical sciencesSiemens and Spectrum Imaging experience highly preferred2 supervisory references from within the last year required for considerationProof of taxable address required for consideration (e.g., Driver's License, utility bill, lease agreement, bank statement, etc.)Additional InformationPerform quality control measures on nuclear medicine equipment including troubleshooting and maintenance to support quality management programsConfer with physicians to determine appropriate procedures and ensure effective operationsDocument all laboratory operations including receipt and disposition of radioactive materials, QC data, patient procedures, and medical recordsProvide clinical instruction to radiology students and residentsStay current with developments in nuclear medicine through professional development activities and participation in organizations such as ARRTAny previous employment history at the facility must be disclosedNo more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for the duration of the contractCandidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rateAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-688254.
