Thorpeness Golf Club & Hotel Lakeside Avenue Thorpeness Leiston IP16 4NH Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year Job Type: Part-time, Permanent A blend of office and home working, depending on the business needs Main Responsibilities Measure and report on weekly business performance to inform the short-term actions required across the business to drive sales and profitability Interpret the monthly management accounts to inform the General Managers as to how business improvements can be made Manage and complete the financial aspects of the annual budgeting process to ensure annual targets are achieved to satisfy the broader business strategy With the CEO and Board of Directors, build the three to five-year business strategy through analysing current asset performance and creating scenarios to inform the long-term plan with the greatest EBITDA potential Instil rigour and structure in key business processes and technology across the company to facilitate business analysis outcomes. Research and keep up to date with key data trends in the hospitality industry so as to be able to conduct benchmarking and other reviews against external comparators. Min 2 years' previous experience in a similar role in finance or marketing function within a larger organisation; within the hospitality industry would be advantageous. Demonstrable skills and experience in identifying business opportunities which have been successfully implemented Excellent analytical skills and an evidence based approach. Min GCSE grade A-C in maths and English, or equivalent, ideally to A-level in maths. Strong communication skills, able to visualise, communicate and present your ideas and understanding effectively to different audiences in a compelling manner. Proficient to advanced level in manipulating data within Excel and Power BI and creating presentations within Power Point Experience of Sage 200 would be advantageous About The Hotel Folk Founded in 1996, The Hotel Folk have grown to comprise six unique and individual family run hotels, a Country Club, and luxurious Spa.
