Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)Compensation: $30.00/Hr. to $50.00Job Type: Full-time (40 to 60 hours a week)We are currently seeking motivated and experienced individuals to join our weld inspection staff. As aCertified Welding Inspector (CWI) , you will be responsible for ensuring that welding processes and materials comply with relevant standards and specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to accurately interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.Essential DutiesAccurately interpret and apply information from plans, specifications, and shop drawingsReport on general compliance and discrepancies in the contractor's materials and methodsPerform quality field inspections to ensure welding processes meet specified standardsMaintain detailed project performance reportsCommunicate effectively and professionally with welders, iron workers, contractors, and supervisorsUphold a strong work ethic, demonstrating a commitment to getting the job done rightOther DutiesAdditional or alternate duties as assigned.
