This position requires safe operation of service vehicles and equipment while delivering exceptional customer service both in-shop and on roadside service calls.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotating, and repairs on commercial vehicles and equipmentConduct roadside service calls in a safe, professional, and timely mannerInspect tires, wheels, and related components for wear, damage, and proper inflationOperate service trucks and equipment safely and in compliance with company and DOT regulationsComplete work orders, service documentation, and customer signatures accuratelyMaintain clean and organized work areas, service trucks, and equipmentFollow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelinesCommunicate effectively with dispatchers, managers, and customers regarding service needs and job statusAssist with inventory control and proper handling of tires and materialsParticipate in after-hours emergency roadside service rotation as requiredPromote a positive company image through professionalism and customer serviceQualificationsPrevious tire service or mechanical experience preferred, but willing to train motivated candidatesValid driver’s license required; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plusAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong work ethic and dependable attendanceBasic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and complete work orders and service paperwork accuratelyStrong commitment to safety and customer satisfactionPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy tires and equipment regularlyAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions for extended periodsAbility to safely operate jacks, air tools, compressors, and heavy equipmentMust be able to respond to roadside service calls at various times, including nights and weekends if requiredWork EnvironmentIndoor and outdoor work environmentsExposure to varying weather conditions, heavy equipment, and moving vehiclesFast-paced commercial service environment with customer interaction daily
