Assembler
AssemblerAs an assembler, you will work independently or as part of a production team to perform component assembly, sub-assembly, final assembly, calibration, inspection, repair, and packaging of products. This role requires understanding component parts identification, process improvement, and inventory awareness, while effectively utilizing small batch manufacturing techniques to reduce assembly lead times.ResponsibilitiesBuild sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and calibrate products.Perform required test procedures and induction soldering.Label and package controls for shipment.Mix and apply epoxy as needed.Implement new assembly aids and fixture procedures.Eliminate non-value added activities and practice company-wide reliable methods.Initiate action to prevent nonconformity, identify and record problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.Recommend solutions, verify their effectiveness, and control further processing or delivery of nonconformance until resolved.Maintain a safe working environment by following company safety procedures.Explain the Quality Policy and its impact on your job.Process all necessary paperwork and perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in assembly and blueprint reading.Ability to perform Electro-Mechanical and/or Electronic manufacturing processes for multiple product lines.Capability to follow oral and written English instructions, alongside basic reading, writing, and math skills typically gained through a high school education.Understanding of technical drawing instructions and ability to accurately follow them to produce conforming products.Additional Skills & QualificationsGeneral skill sets in three or more product and/or process categories.Willingness to work in a team-based environment and a commitment to continuous learning.Certification in soldering for in-process inspection.Ability to perform, with supervision, induction soldering.Why Work Here?Join a great company that offers a very clean work environment and potential for growth.Work EnvironmentWork in a clean and organized environment with opportunities for growth.
