The Application Specialist will program and set up access control systems, Video Management (CCTV/NVR) and intrusion detections systems and associated supporting hardware.CCURE, S2, Lenel, Avigilon, Salient, Exacq, AMAG, Milestone and Genetec Certifications are a plus! RESPONSIBILITIES:Installs, supports and troubleshoots software working with the installation team. Administration and programing of Access Control and Video Management application(s)Program systems utilizing labeling methodology, system wiring and system programming sheetsProvide technical expertise in development and execution Access Control and Video ManagementInteract and communicate effectively with client and internal teamsQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma, vocational diploma, or equivalency (e.g., GED)Ability to obtain PERC Card or active PERC Card preferredMinimum of two (2) years of experience in the physical security industry installing field devicesGood oral and written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to deliver product familiarization training to end-usersQuality assurance skills; able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; seek ways to improve and promote quality; apply feedback to improve performance; monitor own work to ensure qualityAble to meet productivity standards; complete work in timely manner; strive to increase productivity; work quickly and efficientlySafety and security assurance; observe safety and security procedures; determine appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properlyAdaptability - able to adapt to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected eventsDependability - follow instructions, respond to management direction; take responsibility for own actions; keep commitments; commitment to reaching goalsInitiative - volunteer readily; undertakes self-development activities; seek increased responsibilities; take independent actions and calculated risks; looks for and takes advantage of opportunities; asks for and offer help when neededBENEFITS:Salary range: $38 - $50 hourlyMedical, dental, vision, retirement plan, basic life, AD&D, and disability insuranceEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal daysVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
