Junior Systems Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Support systems engineering, implementation, routine maintenance, and lifecycle sustainment of the Cloud Data Pipeline (CDP). Perform entry-level tasking and technical support for planning and executing CDP implementations within USCG-designated environments. Support implementation, routine maintenance, and basic sustainment of data ingestion and sharing capabilities between designated source/recipient systems and the CDP. Assist in utilizing the Confluent platform and Apache Kafka to reduce information silos and consolidate data. Perform foundational tasking and provide troubleshooting support for scheduled maintenance of the CDP platform. Complete basic administrative tasking and system configurations for long-term sustainment of CDP within USCG-designated environments.What You'll Need Experience supporting Cloud Data Pipeline (CDP) or similar systems. Familiarity with data ingestion and sharing capabilities. Experience with Confluent platform and Apache Kafka is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot and perform scheduled maintenance. Strong administrative and system configuration skills.
