Lead Swim Specialist – Summer 2026📍 Elmwood Day Camp | White Plains, NYElmwood Day Camp is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Swim Specialist to join our team for Summer 2026!This is not your typical lifeguarding role. We are looking for a strong swimmer and confident instructor who is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and creating a positive, growth-focused swim program for children.In this leadership role, you will:Teach swim lessons to campers of varying ages and skill levelsAssess and track individual swimmer progress and skill developmentDetermine readiness for level advancementSupport and mentor a team of Swim SpecialistsHelp create a structured, safe, and encouraging waterfront environmentWe’re looking for someone who:Has experience teaching swim lessons (required)Is highly organized and detail-orientedEnjoys working with children and building their confidence in the waterIs a strong communicator and team leaderHolds current lifeguard and CPR/AED certifications (or is willing to obtain them prior to summer)At Elmwood, you’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values leadership, creativity, and connection.
