You’ll also play an important role in helping shape our engineering presence in New York - serving as a key on-the-ground leader for the team in our NYC office as we grow.You must be based in the NYC area and available to work in-office with the team 3x/week at our Flatiron location.Your RoleAs a Lead Full Stack Engineer at Evertune, you’ll help shape the future of how marketers interact with AI. This is a hands-on player/coach role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and execution - someone who can build across the stack, lead by example, and help raise the bar for a growing team.You’ll contribute directly to core product development while helping provide technical leadership for engineers around you, especially more junior team members in New York. We’re looking for someone who brings strong ownership, sound judgment, and mentorship instincts – someone who has led, influenced technical direction, and helped others grow. This person will serve as a key engineering lead in NYC - helping create energy around the office, attract strong local talent, and partner closely on hiring as we build out the teamThis role is ideal for an engineer who wants to remain deeply hands-on while also helping create structure, clarity, and momentum across a fast-moving product and engineering organization. You should be excited by AI-native product experiences, energized by ambiguity, and already heavily using AI tools and LLMs in your own workflow to operate with greater leverage.ResponsibilitiesOwn and lead the development of key areas of Evertune’s product experience across frontend, backend, and APIsLead and manage junior engineers through thoughtful code reviews, pairing, and day-to-day technical guidanceDesign, develop, and ship intuitive, high-performance user experiences for cutting-edge AI productsBuild and evolve backend services and application logic that power core product workflowsHelp create cohesion across multiple product areas into a unified, intuitive user experienceCollaborate closely with product, design, and engineering to shape how AI changes UI/UX, and experiment with new ways to make insights clear, actionable, and impactfulHelp evolve frontend architecture, component systems, and code standards, while contributing to broader full stack architecture decisionsPartner with engineering teammates to design clean APIs and ensure seamless integration across the stackCreate clarity and alignment across the engineering team and cross-functional partnersChampion performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and overall product quality across all productsHelp grow Evertune’s engineering team in NYC by serving as a strong local leader - partnering on hiring, attracting great talent, helping new engineers ramp, and fostering a high-performing in-office cultureRequirementsMust currently be located in the NYC area and able to work in-office 3x/week7+ years experience building and shipping production software as a full stack engineerProven ability to lead projects and drive execution in a fast-moving startup environmentExperience mentoring engineers and helping raise the level of the team; prior formal people management is a plus, but not requiredDeep expertise with modern JavaScript frameworksStrong experience building data-rich, intuitive interfaces and thinking creatively about how to make complex information clear and actionableExperience building backend services and working with Python-based systems or similarComfort with cloud platforms (preferably GCP), CI/CD workflows, and performance monitoringForward-thinking about how AI is changing product development and UI/UX – whether that’s experimenting with AI-powered interfaces, incorporating LLMs into workflows, or building AI-native productsMust be AI-forward and actively using AI tools / LLMs to increase leverage and engineering efficiencyExcellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional settings with design, product, and business stakeholdersStrong technical judgment and the ability to influence direction without unnecessary process or hierarchyExperience interviewing and hiring engineersNice to HavePrior people management experience in a hands-on startup environmentExperience partnering closely on engineering hiring and helping close strong candidatesFamiliarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databasesExperience building analytics products, data-heavy applications, or complex B2B workflowsFounding engineer or early-stage startup experienceExperience designing dynamic, adaptive interfaces for AI, analytics, or workflow productsExposure to the AI / LLM ecosystem or interest in large-scale model behaviorContributions to open-source projects or developer communitiesCulture & ValuesAt Evertune, We’re Building More Than Just Groundbreaking AI Products – We're Building a Culture Where Speed, Insight And Humanity Go Hand In Hand. Salary is just one part of our total compensation package that includes equity, perks & benefits, and development opportunities at Evertune AI. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other Evertune AI employees. It is our expectation that the majority of candidates who are offered roles at Evertune AI will land well within our salary ranges based on these factors.The annual base salary range for this position is: $200,000 - $240,000 + stock options.Benefits include: Competitive Equity, Medical/Dental/Vision Coverage, Generous Paid Time Off, Commuter Benefits, etc.Evertune does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firm recruiters.
