Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Kapaau, HI Agency: AMN Healthcare Allied Pay: $2,228 to $2,296 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Description & Requirements Medical Laboratory Technician - (Med Lab Tech - MLT) StartDate: 4/6/2026 Available Shifts: 8 D/E/N Pay Rate: $2228.00 - $2296.00 Must be willing and able to work on-call. o Must be able to report to work within 1-hour when on-call. o Must be willing and able to perform phlebotomy. Education: Medical Technologist/Specialist: Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution Medical Laboratory Technician: Associate degree in medical laboratory technology/technician from an accredited institution. Certification: · MT: Certified or licensed as a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS),, Technologist or Specialist in the assigned/responsible laboratory discipline by an agency recognized by the Hawaii Department of Health State Laboratories Division. · MLT: Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by an agency recognized by the Hawaii Department of Health State Laboratories Division. Licensure: Hawaii State license as a Technologist, Technician or Specialist. Required Qualifications Medical Laboratory Technician, Laboratory Experience: 1 year Licenses: MLT-HI Certifications: MEDLABTECH(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed) OR Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist, Laboratory MT-HI SSN Required DOB Required Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year MUST HAVE ACTIVE LIC TO SUBMIT, LIC TAKES 10-12 WEEKS PLEASE CLOSE ON PAY WITH LIVING EXPENSES, HOUSING AND CAR ARE NOT CHEAP o Must be able to report to work within 1-hour when on-call. o Must be willing and able to perform phlebotomy.
