Manage student behavior and lab procedures to ensure a productive learning environment.Qualifications/Skills:Education/CertificationMinimum of 48 college hours or high school diploma/equivalent plus pass a District Assessment.Educational Aide Certification.Special Knowledge/SkillsAbility to work and communicate with high school students and adults effectively.High level of comfort with technology, including online learning environments.Major Duties andResponsibilitiesInstructional Support:Adhere to TEA and the district's policies and procedures.Take daily attendance each period.Monitor student progress in virtual courses, including daily monitoring, printing and analyzing progress reports.Communicate student behavior and course progress concerns to appropriate school personnel.Communicate and collaborate with virtual teachersAssist students in the computer lab.Assist in communicating with parents.OtherPerform related duties as required.SupervisoryResponsibilities:NoneEquipment Used:Computer and various office equipment.Working Conditions:Mental DemandsMaintain emotional control under stress.Work with frequent interruptions.This position requires regular in-person interaction with the public.Physical DemandsRepetitive hand motions.Prolonged use of the computer.Frequent sitting, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling.Moving small stacks of textbooks, boxes, equipment and other campus equipment.Application Procedure:Click Apply then Login.
