Position Overview:
Foundation Millwork and Stone is seeking a Millwork Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with millwork engineering, design, and detailing, along with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This role involves providing detailed approval and fabrication drawings based on industry standards and collaborating with team members to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret architectural drawings and customer supplied concept drawings
Ensure accuracy and quality in all millwork detail drawings for materials and hardware specified.
Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules.
Qualifications:
Millwork material and hardware knowledge required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to productivity and customer satisfaction.
Practical experience with cabinet and millwork construction methods, including plywood, hardwood, melamine, etc.
MS Office experience including Word, Excel, and Email.
Strong drafting and drawing layout skills.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to take direction, work well within a team, and stay motivated working alone.
Flexibility - Day to day projects may vary based upon the production schedule.
Willingness to work additional hours if necessary.
Programming experience a plus.
