Environmental, Health and Safety ManagerSAVI EHS – Charleston, South Carolina (On-site)Compensation$40.00 – $45.00 per hour$800 weekly per diemEmployment TypeFull-TimeJob Description – EHS ManagerSAVI EHS is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional specializing in airport construction. The ideal candidate will hold strong safety credentials such as OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, ASP, GSP, CSP, CHST, STSC, or equivalent, and possess proven experience managing safety programs on complex construction projects.This role will support the Construction Manager overseeing an airport refabrication project. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Key ResponsibilitiesOversee Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance for all project operationsConduct and document daily EHS inspectionsDeliver site-specific project safety orientationsAssist with coordinating crane and lifting activitiesParticipate in Daily Hazard Analysis (DHA) processesInvestigate incidents, determine root causes, and develop corrective actionsPartner with project leadership to promote an injury-free workplaceCollect and evaluate safety metrics (leading/lagging indicators) to identify trendsReview EHS plans and assist with developing new safety procedures as neededEnsure subcontractor compliance with all EHS requirementsConfirm craft workers are fully trained for assigned tasksCollaborate closely with trade contractor EHS teams and support the project safety leadership groupAct as liaison with the client’s risk management teamDeliver EHS training modules and support a positive reinforcement safety programPreferred Minimum Requirements5+ years of construction EHS experienceExperience with airport expansions or refabrication projectsProficiency with Microsoft Office and digital safety management toolsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (preferred)OSHA 500/510 and professional safety certifications such as ASP, GSP, CSP, CHST, or STSC
