Infusion Plus also accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans to make care accessible to a wide range of patients.Role DescriptionThe Pharmacist role is a full-time, on-site position located in Flowood, MS. The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, providing education to patients and caregivers, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. Key tasks include compounding IV medications, conducting medication reviews, monitoring therapy outcomes, and participating in quality assurance protocols. The role also involves ensuring proper inventory management and compliance with all state and federal regulations.QualificationsExpertise in pharmaceutical compounding, with an emphasis on IV medication preparationStrong knowledge of medication dosing, interactions, and therapy reviewExperience in providing patient education and collaborating with healthcare teamsFamiliarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance standardsExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in inventory management and sterile compounding processesLicensed as a Pharmacist in good standing in the state of MississippiExperience in specialty pharmacy or infusion services is highly preferredAbility to work on-site and provide hands-on support to patients and staff
