Finance Analyst

Job Title: Finance AnalystJob Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)Job Type: Contract Job Duration: 12+ MonthsExperience: 8+ YearsJob Description:-· Support monthly and quarterly OPEX forecasting activities for AI Software and Platform organizations. · Manage budget forecasting, accrual tracking, Hyperion budget submissions, and financial reporting processes. · Support monthly and quarterly COGS forecasting and tracking activities with focus on hosting cost management and operational efficiency. · Collaborate closely with engineering and business teams to monitor and control infrastructure and hosting expenses. · Prepare and support monthly P&L submissions for AI Solutions and related business entities. · Handle Bookings, Revenue, Cost, ARR, RRDR, and other financial submissions within established timelines. · Perform Hyperion data uploads, financial consolidations, and reporting validations. · Refresh and maintain monthly Gross Margin reporting files and financial dashboards. · Track acquisition forecasts and financial impacts on WD+3 reporting cycles. · Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Planning (LRP) initiatives. · Drive financial process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting efficiencies. · Analyze financial models, operational metrics, and forecasting data to support strategic decision-making. · Work collaboratively with Central BE FP&A, AI Solutions Business Unit teams, and Controllers organization. · Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all financial submissions and reporting activities. · Utilize financial systems and tools including Business Objects, Hyperion, and advanced Excel functions for reporting and analysis. · Work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. · Demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. · Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across finance, engineering, and operations teams. · Support ad hoc financial analysis, reporting requests, and special projects as needed. · 8+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Accounting, or Economics with strong forecasting and reporting expertise.Email: ajitkumar.rai@tekgence.com
