This is a greatopportunity for someone eager to work in a challenging, innovative technical organization based inBedford, Massachusetts.Responsibilities:Build assemblies, wire and solder components using assembly drawings, electrical schematics,wiring diagrams and other documentation as required.Skillfully fabricate (wind) a variety of custom-designed transformers.Learn and understand basic assembly sequences and standards, discuss potential technicalissues with supervisors.Flexibility in different jobs having different sets of standards.Light fabrication using power tools.Occasional work required with transformer oil, where proper PPE and training will be provided.Provide support and adhere to companys quality process.Requirements:High School graduate, technical high school preferredUp to five years related work experiencePractical experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawingsand sketchesExperience with electrical wire harness, soldering and mechanical assemblyAbility to lift / move assemblies of 20-40 pounds (e.g., from carts into racks)Good written and verbal communication skillsAble to interact effectively with scientists, engineers, draftspersons and machinistsKnowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and WordExperience winding transformers highly desirableU.S. Citizen or Permanent ResidentCompensation:Salary range: $65,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.Excellent benefits include health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401K Plan, tuition reimbursement; paid holidays, sick leave and fifteen vacation days beginning year one.DTI is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Female / Male / Disabled / Veteran.DTI makes reasonable accommodation(s) for persons with disabilities.Visit Career Opportunities on our website at www.divtecs.com to learn more and apply.
