I&C Instructor - Palisades, MI - onsite - This is a nuclear facility.Your Day-to-Day:Create station and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. Develop, schedules, and conducts performance-based maintenance or technical training programs by user community following department procedures, and with proper application of the analysis and development phases.Prepare trainee examination and conduct trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments and conducts counseling sessions for trainees, evaluates the results, and recommends/develops individualized training programs.Assure the training programs are maintained current and incorporate information gained from INPO Operating Experience Reports and NRC Circulars, Bulletins, and Information Notices, plant design change and backfit information, plant procedure changes and revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.Participate in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepare responses to audit findings.Maintain knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, determined by the responsibility to conduct, high-quality training.Who You Are:High school diploma5+years of nuclear technical background OR7+ years of related industry experience2+ years in trainingINPO certifiedAS/AA in science/engineering or equivalent Instrument and controls experience7+ years of nuclear power plant technical experience in Instrumentation and controls OR10+years of related industry experience in Instrumentation and controls instruction5+ years nuclear training experienceOur Safety Pledge to You:If you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!
