Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Support the learning and development of students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within a dynamic school environment located in Union City, CA. This contract role offers a full-time position (30-32 hours per week) through the end of the school year (EOSY), working closely with special education staff to help students succeed in general education classrooms.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 support to students with behavioral needs within general education settings.Build positive relationships and rapport with students to foster a supportive learning environment.Implement behavior intervention plans, focusing on reducing escape-maintained behaviors and preventing escalation.Assist students with following classroom routines, task completion, and participation in class activities.Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and supervisors to promote student success.Participate in required training and district onboarding processes, including fingerprinting.Qualifications:Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential is required.Previous experience working in school settings with students exhibiting mild to moderate behavioral support needs.Strong interpersonal skills to engage and build trust with students and staff.Ability to remain calm and effective during behavioral escalations.Familiarity with behavior plans and data collection.Willingness to complete district-required onboarding procedures.Location:Union City, California, within a bustling school district that values inclusive education.Benefits:Gain hands-on experience supporting diverse student populations.Contribute meaningfully to student growth and classroom success.Contract position with consistent weekly hours and clear assignment expectations.Interested candidates who hold an active RBT credential and are ready to support students in Union City are encouraged to apply.
